John King brought this project to me a while back. The Gap was giving away a New Beetle as part of a promotion.

It was a fun piece. It was the first time I had done a project that EVERY SINGLE piece of audio was going to be replaced. The guys at Berke Sound in San Francisco actually took my EDL and re-layed every sound from the tape.

What you are hearing in this piece is my rough track. I never got to hear anything but a VHS of the final. Such is life in this kind of business. Nothing stands still.
